Art Packer/ Office Assistant.
The successful candidate must have the following qualifications: - A minimum of 1-year experience in the art world incl. crating/ packing.
- Knowledge of handling sensitive and fragile items.
- Prior experience in packing fragile items.
- Carpentry and construction skills.
- Drive company vans, pickups, or box trucks to deliver art.
- Strong communication and relational skills to work effectively with clients and co-workers.
- Must be proficient Knowledge in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
- Answer customer phone calls and emails.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Operates shop machinery, including hand and power tools and work carts, as necessary.
- Familiarity with paperwork; Bills of Lading, Condition Reports, Inventory, Drivers Logs, etc.
- Ability to communicate in written and spoken English.
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
- Ability to thrive in a busy environment.
- Must have a clean driving record no DUI or speeding tickets in the last five years.
Responsibilities:
- In this role, you will be independently responsible for handling customer phone calls and emails, formulating custom quotes, logistics planning, and problem-solving and creating accurate shipping documents.
- The successful candidate must be extremely detail orientated and able to multitask in a busy office environment.
- You should be skilled in the use of Microsoft Office software including Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Must be able to pass a DOT drug test and medical exam.
This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday. We do offer paid holidays, PTO and Medical Benefits and 401K will become available to successful full-time candidates upon completion of the probationary period.
