Kirby Bates Associates has been exclusively retained by South Shore Health to recruit an Associate Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO), Parent Child Division . Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), the ACNO will partner closely with a highly collaborative ACNO team, executive leaders, and frontline clinicians to shape the future of pediatric, neonatology, and maternity care across the system.
South Shore Health is a 396-bed, independent, not-for-profit health system serving the Greater South Shore region. It is the only community hospital in Massachusetts operating a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and one of just two hospitals in the state with a Level II Adult Trauma Center designation . The system delivers comprehensive, high-quality primary, secondary, and tertiary care, along with specialty services, home health, community care, emergency and urgent care, wellness, and preventative services.
This is a unique opportunity for an innovative, forward-thinking nursing leader to guide high-performing teams, advance strategic priorities, and elevate excellence across the maternal-child continuum. The ACNO will champion a culture grounded in quality, safety, patient-centered outcomes, employee engagement, and fiscal stewardship. The ideal candidate will bring deep clinical expertise, strong leadership acumen, and a passion for advancing equity, access, and innovation in care delivery.
South Shore Health is proudly Magnet®-recognized and a Beacon Award–winning organization.
