About the Role
Level: Boots on the ground (technician level, not Clinical Engineer).
Responsibilities
- Repairing equipment.
- Performing preparation and maintenance (PM) of equipment.
- Taking work orders.
- Running units.
Qualifications
- Relevant Certifications and/or a Bachelor's Degree (especially for lower level role).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience for a BMET 2; 8+ years for Senior BMET.
- Experience with repairing equipment and managing work orders
- Hospital experience
- Proven stability
Preferred Skills
- Field services experience (e.g., repairing ultrasound equipment for a manufacturer).
- OEM training (e.g., BAXTER training on pumps).
- CBET (Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician) for Senior level.
Technologies/Tools
- Knowledge of various equipment models, experience with traditional tool belts.
Candidate Background
- Clinical Engineering, Clinical Support, or Manufacturing Field Services.
