Title: Career Counselor

Location: On-Site (Albuquerque, New Mexico)

Duration: PERM

Pay: $43,388/yr - $44,000/yr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Must Haves

• A bachelor's degree (any degree works but needs to have at least 15 credit hours of Sociology or Psychology
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced and changing environment (someone who is very flexible)
• Excited about helping students succeed and create a better future for themselves
• Valid Drivers License and ability to pass a background check

Plusses

• Past experience working in any Social Science, Education or Social Services environments

Day to Day

Insight Global has a client that is looking for a career counselor to join their team in a fast paced community building environment. This candidate will be meeting with students throughout the day for career guidance, crisis intervention, and personal concerns. Reviewing and compiling student progress reports across all assigned areas; preparing 7 to 12 detailed evaluation packets for teachers weekly that will ensure students are on track with their program and are tracking for a successful graduation.
