Part-Time Childcare Staff – After School Program

Zion’s After School Program is seeking caring, dependable childcare providers, after-school staff, and teachers’ assistants to join our team in supporting elementary-aged children. If you enjoy working with kids, helping them learn, and creating a safe and nurturing environment, this position is a great fit!

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• 2:00–6:00 PM

Pay

• Starting at $18.50/hour

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage elementary-aged children in a safe and positive environment
• Lead games, arts & crafts, and group activities
• Provide homework help and academic support
• Encourage social-emotional development and positive behavior
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming program space

Qualifications

• Previous childcare, teaching, tutoring, or camp experience preferred, but not required
• Reliable, patient, and enthusiastic about working with children
• Ability to work as part of a team
• We provide training for the right candidate
