100% ONSITE NORTH CHICAGO IL 60064

Pay:$30-$39/hr

REQUIRED:

• BS degree in Chemistry, Organic Chem or Biochem.
• Lab exp with HPLC or GC
• Empower for HPLC preferred
• 5S lab experience is excellent
• Experience with lab safety walkthroughs really stands out to the hiring manager
• Any lab experience with calibration is preferred but not required
• Must be handy with equipment (prefer some experience with basic installation and minor maintenance on lab equipment)
• Must know MS Office (Excel mainly)

Over 3 years of experience heavy in experiments is overqualified.

Masters is overqual

Job Description:

This is a new role but this person will be primarily coordinating maintenance on equipment - maintenance of laboratory operations - coordination of laboratory activities - very limited execution of experiments (but manager still would like some familiarity with experiments) - this person will not actually be calibrating the equipment (more coordination with metrology teams)

HPLC or GC experience is ideal (familiarity with how to run an experiment required)

Day to day –

They will have projects planned, check with maintenance for what PMS will need to be ran. Know what to coordinate with scientist for what equipment is available.

Maintain lab and supplies.

This is a new role and will be molded.
