Job Description

We’re looking for a reliable, enthusiastic Event Assistant to represent our company, Technoville, at the Small Business Expo in Austin. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in marketing, tech, or event management to gain real-world experience and network with professionals in the field.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in setting up and managing our booth
  • Engage with attendees and share information about our services
  • Distribute marketing materials and swag
  • Capture leads and answer basic questions (training will be provided)
  • Maintain a professional and friendly presence throughout the event

Requirements:

  • Based in or able to commute to Houston on your own
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Interest in marketing, tech, or startups is a plus
  • Prior event or trade show experience is a bonus but not required
  • Must be available during event hours: Oct 30 (9 AM - 4:30 PM)

Compensation:

Competitive daily rate of $15/hour for hours spent at the event + event pass
