Well-established Fairfield County Landscape company is looking for a skilled and dependable Horticulturalist with strong plant knowledge and a passion for creating and maintaining beautiful, healthy landscapes.

Qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge in plant and tree healthcare.
• Proven experience as a Horticulturalist and Pruning Specialist.
• Skilled in proper pruning techniques for trees, shrubs, and ornamentals.
• Excellent people skills — able to communicate clearly and maintain a professional and friendly relationship with clients and team members.
• Strong time-management and organizational abilities.
• Reliable and detail oriented. Takes pride in quality work.
• Hands-on and proactive problem solver.
• Compensation is commensurate with experience (DOE)

Job Requirements

Responsibilities include:

• Pruning, and maintaining a variety of plant species.

• Guide staff in proper techniques, seasonal practices, and long-term care of landscapes.

• Evaluate quality of work to ensure standards in planting and soil health.

• Assessing plant health and providing ongoing recommendations & solutions.

• Working independently and as part of a small team.

• Prompt, early morning start times.

• Maintain busy schedule, caring for client properties weekly/monthly

• Must be a licensed driver.
