Job Description
:
Acquisition and management of exhibitors, buyers, and visitors :
- Establish and carry out the annual canvassing strategy
- Develop the key accounts and sales agent network to ensure optimum coverage of exhibitors, buyers, and visitors
- Oversee international sales agents by defining effective and timely canvassing budgets, monitoring activities, reporting on leads and sales, identifying opportunities in sales territories.
- Develop and carry out the international buyer recruitment plan.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with international leading buyer companies and key players in the market.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with relevant organizations, such as governmental departments, associations, sales agents.
- Apply creative and proactive thinking to spot new growth opportunities
- Conduct market research including market analysis, monitoring of the fresh produce industry and related events landscape
- Organize and manage special events such as roadshows and industry meetups
- Manage exhibitor and trade visitor registration system via the Exhibitor Management System (EMS), ticket shop, and related platforms.
- Overall support the project management in advancing business development endeavors
- Perform on-site duties and ad hoc tasks assigned by the company.
