Position Details
Location: Livermore, CA
Schedule: Morning availability required + Sundays required
Hours: Part-time; typically 24–30 hours/week (6 hours/week minimum)
Pay: $22/hour to start (higher for experience/certifications)
Employment Type: Onsite, Part-time
Benefits: None — part-time role
This role works well for:
- College students (kinesiology, education, child development, etc.)
- Personal trainers or fitness instructors supplementing hours
- Coaches with a passion for developing kids
What You’ll Do
- Lead high-energy classes using our milestone-accelerator curriculum
- Work hands-on with kids to help them move well, build confidence, and crush goals
- Build supportive relationships with families — lots of cheering & high-fives 🎉
- Maintain a safe, motivating environment that keeps kids excited to come back
- Track attendance and achievements in the KidStrong Coaches App
- Participate in training programs and occasional KidStrong Camps when schools are closed
- Bring a positive, professional, and FUN presence every shift
This is an active role — expect to move throughout class and lift light equipment (up to 25 lbs).
You’ll Be Great At This If You Are…
- Passionate about helping kids grow (non-negotiable ❤️)
- A confident communicator who can lead a room with energy
- Reliable and committed to scheduling responsibilities
- Able to collaborate well with teammates & be coachable yourself
- CPR certified (or willing to become certified)
Bonus points for experience in:
- Youth sports coaching, fitness instruction, PE, exercise science
- Pediatric OT/PT or early childhood development
