CORE FUNCTIONS
• Perform preparation of reagents and controls
• Perform daily and weekly maintenance of equipment per SOPs (standard operating procedures) and any other applicable documentation
• Maintain laboratory and equipment clean and functional (On-the-job training will be provided)
• Perform all tasks related to clinical sample testing (blood, urine), including sample receipt, log-in, sample preparation and testing, recording test results, and disposing of samples
• Organize stock and maintains inventory; order stock as needed
• Adhere to existing safety standards and help improve laboratory safety practices whenever possible
• Provide support to direct and extended R&D team as necessary This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities as necessary. Perform all other duties as assigned.
CORE REQUIREMENTS
• Associate Degree- with 3 years’ experience
• 4-year bachelor’s degree (Chemistry, Biology, or other STEM-related field) with 0-2 years’ experience
• Experience with urine chemistry and/or hematology diagnostic testing and instrumentation preferred
