Assistant Nurse Manager - Behavior Health As the Assistant Nurse Manager in Behavioral Health at our Far Rockaway facility, you will lead a dedicated team in providing quality patient care during the 3pm to 11:30pm shift. Your day will involve coordinating care, resolving conflicts, and ensuring staff competency, fostering an empowering environment for both employees and patients. Collaborating closely with doctors and healthcare professionals, you will address patient needs, all while upholding the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance. Assistant Nurse Manager needed to work in Behavioral Health Monday - Friday 3pm-11:30pm. Must have 3-4 years of experience working in Behavioral Health, Valid RN License, BLS and ACLS, and PMCS through the NYS Office of Mental Health. Maintains shift accountability for the coordination and facilitation of the delivery of quality patient care on their unit. Encourages staff to achieve high performance standards through education and role modeling. Utilizes knowledge and expertise in participation of case management to provide comprehensive, coordinated, seamless care to patients and their significant others. Resolves conflicts on the Patient Care Unit and uses established conflict resolution techniques to steer and direct care team members towards an amicable solution. Manages Human and Material Resources effectively and efficiently.
