The UCSF Liver Transplant Service (LTU) is a collaborative program between the Division of Gastroenterology and the Department of Surgery, dedicated to providing world-class care for liver transplant candidates and recipients. UCSF performs 180–200 adult liver transplants annually, with outstanding waitlist and post-transplant outcomes.
We are seeking a mission-driven physician to serve as Nighttime Liver Hospitalist , caring for clinically complex patients across med-surg, step-down, and ICU settings. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-volume transplant program and contribute to UCSF’s tradition of excellence in hepatology and transplant medicine.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See . The minimum base salary range for this position is $114,100-344,400 . This position includes membership in the , which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. Specific total compensation will be commensurate with qualifications, experience and leadership responsibilities.
