Job Description

A health services network in New York City is actively seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join one of its facilities in the Bronx.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday (one weekend day per month)
• Hours: Standard business (one late evening a week)

Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing and treating common and chronic illnesses
• Assisting with health promotion and disease prevention
• Patient education and counseling
• Prescribing medications and treatments
• Making home/hospital visits to clients and/or taking calls
• Participating in special projects and committees
• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of related Nursing experience with at least one year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner (NP)
• Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Nursing
• Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
• NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification & registration

• Certified or eligible for certification by recognized specialty organization

Desired Skills:

• Bilingual (English and Spanish)
