- Evaluate and treat patients recovering from strokes, orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, and other complex diagnoses.
- Develop personalized treatment plans focused on restoring function, mobility, and independence.
- Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team including PTs, SLPs, nurses, and physicians.
- Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Provide patient and family education to support continued recovery post-discharge.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current Oklahoma OT license (or eligibility to obtain).
- BLS certification required (can be obtained through Mercy if not current).
- Prior experience in inpatient rehabilitation or acute care preferred, but not required.
