Ocean Import Coordinator
$60,000–$70,000 + Benefits | Office-Based
We are partnering with a leading, globally recognized freight forwarding organization to appoint an experienced Ocean Import Agent to join their high-performing team. This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of a well-established business with a strong reputation for service, stability, and internal progression.
You will be joining a collaborative and fast-paced Import department of 45 specialists, contributing your expertise to ensure smooth end-to-end management of ocean import operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full A–Z ocean import cycle, ensuring timely and accurate handling of all shipments.
- Coordinate with carriers, customers, overseas agents, and internal departments.
- Prepare and process all relevant documentation.
- Track and monitor shipments, proactively resolving any issues.
- Maintain accurate data entry and file management.
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the import process.
Required Experience
- Demonstrated A–Z ocean import experience within a freight forwarding environment.
- Strong working knowledge of CargoWise is essential.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a busy, team-focused office environment.
