Watch Staff Specialist – Agensys (SNS)

ASPR Strategic National Stockpile Logistical Support
Background : The Division of Strategic National Stockpile (DSNS) manages and maintains the Assistant Preparedness and Response (ASPR)'s Strategic National Stockpile (SNS), the national repository of critical medicines, medical supplies, and medical equipment established to protect the American public if there is a public health emergency severe enough to cause local supplies to run out. The division procures and ensures that medical assets are stored and managed at the highest level of the Food and Drug Administration’s current Good Manufacturing Practices, and delivers these assets, which are designed to supplement state and local public health agencies in the event of a large-scale public health emergency in the United States or its territories. During such a national emergency, the DSNS may deploy a team of advisors to provide technical assistance to the state(s) receiving the stockpile medical assets.

Agensys is seeking Operations Center Watch Staff that will serve as the initial point of contact between SNS, supported Centers, Institutes and Offices (CIOs), outside agencies, health officials, and the public, and liaison with other SNS Ops center operations (e.g. public response hotline, clinicians information line). Leidos requires 5 Watch Staff Specialist in the Atlanta, GA location.
Task 1: Operations Center Watch Staff Support
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent + 4 years' related experience
1. Ability to prioritize tasks and scope with occasional periods of stress when dealing with critical situations.
2. Possesses excellent English language skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
3. Demonstrates strong customer relations capabilities to achieve customer satisfaction with SNS services.
4. Experience working in a call center environment where teamwork was an essential element of service delivery.
5. Ability to consistently work some weekends on a rotating schedule. Day or night shifts are available.
6. 2+ years of demonstrated experience in public health preparedness, emergency management, emergency medical services (EMS), military/police force, or other relevant experience.
