Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician (Shift Differential)
Work Location:
97 McAlister Farm Rd, Portland, ME 04103, USA
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Shift Requirements:
- 5 days per week with rotating weekends
- Weekdays: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM (Mon–Fri)
- Rotating weekends: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- Hours per Day: 8
- Hours per Week: 40
Certifications/Licenses:
- Maine Pharmacy Technician License (required)
Key Responsibilities
- Fill prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
- Prepackage medications for dispensing in accordance with regulations.
- Assist pharmacists in final prescription checks, including medication staging and packaging.
- Coordinate accurate and timely delivery of medications to customers.
- Support inventory management: receive and rotate stock, post lot numbers and expiration dates, assist in physical inventory counts.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in collaboration with the Technician Supervisor.
- Check equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness.
