Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade dashboards, reports, and automated workflows using Microsoft Power BI and Power Automate . The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable insights while ensuring performance, reliability, and data governance best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Power BI Development & Reporting

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, KPI scorecards, and visual analytics .

  • Create and optimize data models using Power Query, DAX expressions, and relationships to ensure accurate and performant reporting.

  • Troubleshoot, tune, and maintain existing Power BI reports and dashboards.

Power Automate & Workflow Automation

  • Build, deploy, and manage automated workflows using Power Automate (cloud flows, desktop flows, and approval workflows).

  • Monitor, schedule, and maintain automated data refreshes and workflows.

Data Integration & Platforms

  • Integrate Power BI and Power Automate with multiple data sources and services including SQL databases, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, Power Apps, Dataverse, and Microsoft Teams .

  • Ensure secure and reliable data connectivity and refresh strategies.

Requirements & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable BI and automation solutions.

  • Provide actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making.

Governance, Support & Enablement

  • Implement Power BI workspace governance , security, and best practices.

  • Train and support end users on Power BI reports and Power Automate flows.

  • Provide ongoing support to ensure solution reliability and user adoption.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay current with Microsoft Power Platform enhancements and recommend improvements to BI and automation solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI development .

  • Strong expertise in DAX, Power Query , and data modeling concepts.

  • Hands-on experience with Power Automate (cloud, desktop, approvals).

  • Strong SQL skills and experience integrating data from multiple sources.

  • Experience working with SharePoint, APIs, Power Apps, Dataverse , and Microsoft Teams.

  • Proven ability to design high-performance, user-friendly dashboards and reports.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders.
