Job Description
A health services network in California is actively seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct care for residents with mental and/or physical disabilities at their Thousand Oaks residential group home.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (rotating weekends and holidays)
- Hours: 30-40 hours per week, between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm
- Setting: Residential Group Home
Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:
- Assessing patients' health matters and needs
- Developing and implementing nursing care plans
- Maintaining medical records
- Administering nursing care to residents
- Effectively supervising LVNs and Direct Support Professionals
Qualifications:
- 1 year of Nursing experience
- Graduate of an approved Board of Registered Nursing approved school
- Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- G-Tube experience
- Supervisory and management skills
- Strong critical thinking
- Communication skills
- Adaptability in a dynamic environment
Desired Skills:
- 6 months experience with adults with mental/physical disabilities
- Experience with Developmental Disability Care
