Role Overview

The Senior Designer will own and elevate Cann’s visual identity across all consumer touchpoints—from packaging to digital to retail to experiential. This person is equal parts strategic thinker and roll-up-your-sleeves maker. You’ll translate our brand voice into bold, cohesive, highly creative visual work that stands out in a crowded (and regulated) category.

What You'll Do:

Brand & Creative

• Lead design development across campaigns, digital, social, email, retail, events, and partnerships.
• Evolve and maintain Cann’s visual identity, ensuring consistency across all channels including video.
• Concept and execute creative for product launches, seasonal moments, and marketing campaigns.
• Partner with Copy + Brand teams to bring storytelling to life visually.

Packaging & Product

• Own packaging design from concept through production, including flavor innovation, limited editions, and retailer-exclusive SKUs.
• Work closely with Ops on print specs, dielines, and vendor hand-off.
  

Digital & Social Ads

• Create high-performing design/videos for paid media channels (Meta, TikTok, Snap), organic social, website assets and landing pages.
• Develop short-form motion graphics and lightweight animation to support content.
  

Experiential & Retail

• Design assets for in-store displays, trade shows, field marketing, apparel, and event activations.
• Build toolkits for markets + retail partners that scale strong brand presence.

What You Bring:

• 7 years of design experience, in CPG, beverage, or a culture-driven brand.
• A portfolio that shows exceptional taste, creative range, and brand consistency.
• Strong command of typography, color, layout, illustration, video editing and motion.
• Experience designing for packaging, digital, and social at a high level.
• Ability to move quickly and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable taking strategic direction and also pitching bold new ideas.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and motion tools (After Effects, etc.).
• Mastery in creating performance ads that win, with an emphasis on video collateral.
• Obsession with performance metrics to ensure all ads drive action.
• Photo Retouching is a PLUS.
