Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Project Engineer with strong expertise in pharmaceutical equipment installations . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience leading end-to-end installation, commissioning, qualification, and validation of large-scale pharmaceutical equipment such as dryers and centrifuges , ensuring full compliance with GMP and regulatory standards .
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end pharmaceutical capital projects involving installation, qualification, and validation of large equipment (dryers, centrifuges, and similar systems).
- Develop and manage project plans , including scope, timelines, resources, risk management, and budgets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams , vendors, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Ensure full compliance with GMP, FDA, ISO, and industry standards throughout all project phases.
- Oversee equipment installation, commissioning, IQ/OQ/PQ, and validation activities.
- Drive issue resolution, troubleshooting, and deviation management during installation and commissioning.
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and provide regular project status updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in project engineering or project management within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven experience with large-scale pharmaceutical equipment installations , including dryers and centrifuges.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, and ISO standards .
- Demonstrated expertise in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management .
- Hands-on experience with equipment installation and qualification/validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) .
- Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects under tight timelines.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel as required .
Preferred Skills / Experience
- Direct hire experience within pharmaceutical companies, supporting projects from initiation through completion .
- Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera , or similar.
