Job Description
My client is actively seeking a Project Coordinator with a strong background within Smartsheet utilization and best practices for their team based in downtown Chicago.
This opportunity will be 2-3 days onsite in Chicago, IL
Responsibilities
- Smartsheet Control Center Management: Analyze and refine project workflows to enhance efficiency, productivity, and outcomes across the portfolio
- Project Administration: Manage scheduling, coordinate meetings, oversee email communications, manage Teams and folder, and track project invoices and deliverables
Process Optimization:
- Continuous Improvement: Identify bottlenecks, eliminate redundancies, and implement solutions that add measurable value to project goals
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless project execution
- Process Development: Assist in developing and implementing new processes that align with organizational objectives
- Project Support: Provide comprehensive administrative and analytical support to project management/transformation office
- Task Management: Prioritize competing demands and adapt to changing timelines while maintaining quality standards
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a project coordinator/manager
- Expert in Smartsheet, including control center, dashboard creation, automated workflows, and reporting
- Exposure to finance-related projects or systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, Anaplan) is a plus
- Proficiency in project management tools (preferably Smartsheet, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience supporting finance or operations projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Word), Teams
